Matthew is very good at keeping an eye on not only the financial situation but how generally my retirement plans are going such as Health, leisure activity's, Holidays etc. This provides me with a very useful additional viewpoint, which enables me to take a more balanced approach to my future retirement plans.

A complete review of our financial status, made recommendation for personal pensions with regard to my personal risk outlook, switched my personal pensions to one company which was all done through their systems. Gave advice and recommendations regarding all other assets and also on retirement planning.

However I thought this scheme was limited, I knew what I was looking for would be more expensive than the first scheme recommended. Matthew then looked again and made a further recommendation. This scheme has a very low platform cost. Along with Matthew’s fee I doubt I would get it cheaper doing it independently and I wouldn’t have the benefit of Matthew’s advice.
I have had my first annual review recently, the scheme is on track to achieve my objectives. There is a slight wobble due to the recent change in government but it should settle down after the October budget.

If it hadn’t been for Matthew and his team I would be still be indecisive and wondering what to do. I wanted to retire but didn’t know if I had enough to do so. It was he that made it possible. He put me instantly at ease with his genial and enthusiastic manner. He is concise, confident and patient helping me understand and put together a plan. Not just for the present but continuing into the future too. He’s stayed with me, not only giving sound advice but sometimes as a sounding board when I am trying to make a decision.
